Therefore, participants of the panel are active international art figures who would like to share their experiences and ideas and will talk about their unique tools for collecting contemporary art.

Deloitte’s 12th Annual Art & Finance Conference – "New Collector Trends in Art & Finance" took its place in Fairmont Hotel in Monte-Carlo.

The 6th edition of Art & Finance Report 2019 was presented there, which aims to act as a barometer for the emerging art and finance industry and highlights the main trends and developments in the art market. Crypto Valley Conference, Zug, 24th June

The 2nd edition of the Crypto Valley Conference opened up on the 24th of June with two and a half days of in-depth discussions on the current state and future of blockchain technology. Blockchain artworks from the famous duo @pents90 @matt2000 the authors of CryptoPunks were exhibited and you could see the new work “Autoglyphs”, the first “on-chain” generative art on the Ethereum blockchain, as well as the Plantoid by Primavera di Filippi, the blockchain sculptor. The selection is curated by Georg Bak.

ART & TECH Panel, Basel, 13th June

The talk, The Impact of Technological Innovations on the Art Market, will cover the latest tech innovations used for exhibiting, collecting, managing and creating art. We are excited to discuss how new media art is becoming an important segment of the global market.

The 'Automat und Mensch' exhibition is, above all, an opportunity to put important work by generative artists spanning the last 70 years into context by showing it in a single location. By juxtaposing important works like the 1956/’57 oscillograms by Herbert W. Franke (age 91) with the 2018 AI-Generated Nude Portrait #1 by contemporary artist Robbie Barrat (age 19), we can see the full history and spectrum of generative art as has never been shown before.

MME | CRYPTO MEETS ART, KVG, 11th January

For the first time in Switzerland, Kate Vass Galerie in Zurich presented a comprehensive and unique exhibition on blockchain art, showcasing the most important protagonists of this movement.

Georg Bak, Curator, Digital Art Expert, and Mónika Molnár, MME Tax Expert, have asked themselves whether art is measurable, whether the beauty of art is measurable in digits or tokens, and what crypto art is all about.

This conversation continued in an open discussion about the contemporary developments of art in a decentralized world. The interaction of man and technology and their effects on art and taxes.
