LUCAS AGUIRRE
Lucas Aguirre is an artist based in Argentina. He studied Visual Arts at the National University of Córdoba. He works by combining elements of physical reality in a digital space. Paint strokes, people, and places are scanned three-dimensionally and reconfigured using virtual reality.
The result of these operations can return to the physical plane and be continued analogically a back and forth between traditional modes and new media. He understands digital tools as a possibility to subvert everyday elements and thus generate other visions. He has held individual exhibitions such as “A constructive Instability “Art Mûr gallery (Montreal, Canada 2021) and “A crack in everything” Museo Genaro Perez (Argentina 2014). His works were shown in museums like Museo Della Permanente (Milan, Italy), and Museo Emilio Caraffa (Córdoba, Argentina) and exhibited in shows in New York, Switzerland, Sao Paulo, and Uruguay.
