BIOGRAPHY
Marc Guiragossian is a young and talented contemporary painter whose artistic style reflects the rich tradition of painting and art history, while also embracing the ever-changing trends of modern art. As the grandson of renowned neo-expressionist painter Paul Guiragossian, Marc has been surrounded by art and creativity his entire life, and has developed a distinctive style that combines the aesthetic philosophies and techniques of influential masters such as El Greco and Rembrandt, with the chance effects of Surrealist “automatism”. His works are characterized by vibrant colors and dynamic brushstrokes that create a symphony of movement and emotion.
Marc began his artistic career at a young age, and has already achieved great success with his debut solo-show at Mark Hachem gallery in Beirut in 2016, which sold-out almost instantly. He has since exhibited his works in numerous exhibitions and galleries around the world, including the Musee Emmanuel Guiragossian, Karnik Gallery “Resonance X Relevance", and the Colnaghi Gallery Group Exhibition. His works can be found in prominent public and private collections worldwide, and in 2021, the Institute De Monde Arab Museum acquired one of his works for their permanent collection. Marc currently works between Berlin and London, continuously evolving and refining his style to create new and captivating works of art.
