William Mapan, born in 1988 and based in Paris, blends the realms of technology and art, making a significant mark in the digital art world. His background in software development laid a robust foundation for his journey into art, where he harmonizes computational precision with emotive expression. For a decade, Mapan worked extensively as a creative developer. Art was a sideline pursuit until a mysterious message in 2018 piqued his curiosity about the world of NFTs. This territory unraveled itself, leading to the successful launch of his first NFT in 2021.
His abstract digital paintings, renowned for their unique interplay of color and texture, evoke tangible emotions as though created from traditional materials like charcoal and graphite. Beyond his creative endeavors, Mapan is a lecturer at Gobelins, l'école de l'image in Paris.
